Substance just returned from Rothbury where we managed the Rothbury Think Tank’s Activism Hub, forming it into the Manifest Station. We worked to build regional networks, help clean energy orgs progress their campaigns, and generally promote activism and civic engagement to the tens of thousands of event attendees.

We talked to a lot of people and were very excited by Rothbury’s efforts in environmental sustainability and promoting the green economy through the Think Tanks. Thank you to Brandon Knight, Jon, Tom LaPorte and the whole crew from Our Future Now, Global Exchange, Sierra Club, and all the Think Tank and booth volunteers, as well as anyone who stopped by, signed up, and supported our work.

Rothbury has helped solidify sustainability as the standard, but we have to continue to work to progress and hold events accountable.
