Transparent Events
Substance’s Transparent Events(tm) partners with bands, organizations, promoters, venues, and festivals to work to reduce the negative social and environmental impacts of the music industry.
This includes waste reduction coordination, replacing disposables with compostables, implementing full recycling, promoting fair trade merchandise, integrating renewable energy power generation, and more. We offer consulting services, contracts to coordinate and manage all event “greening”, and sponsorships to provide all or partial services.
The Manifestation event can be used as an example of Transparent Events’ “zero-waste” event services in a venue setting, at First Avenue (Mpls). Click here for more info about the event.
Substance event services
Substance can be contracted for fee-for-service assistance with progressive activism themed events. Substance coordinates and books shows for non-profits/activist organizations, coordinates political campaigns for tours, and much more.
Substance was contracted to coordinate and manage HIRE Minnesota’s Capitol Day Rally, April 20th, 2009, for Green Jobs. Click here for more about that event.
