American Nightmare – November 1st, 2008 at the Oak Shott Church, Minneapolis (Como Neighborhood) featuring Kill the Vultures, Gay Witch Abortion, Slapping Purses, and Tender Meat – also featured a “Police State” themed haunted house, reminiscent of the Republican National Convention 2008 – presented by Substance UMN (student chapter)
Ripple Effect – September 2nd, 2008 during the Republican National Convention at the State Capitol (St. Paul, Minnesota) featuring Anti-Flag, Michael Franti, Dead Prez, Wookie Foot w/Matisyahu, I Self Devine and more – sponsored by the Sustainable Living Roadshow as well as many other activist/non-profit organizations – free and open to all
Justice Jam – May 3rd, 2008 as part of Actifest at the University of Minnesota, in Dinkytown featuring Heiruspecs, White Light Riot, Kanser w/More Than Lights, Truthmaze, Indigo, St. Paul Slim, Muja Messiah, GENA, and Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles as well as a skate demo by 3rd Lair and Cal Surf and Spoken Word by the MN Spoken Word Association – free and open to all
