The Rainforest Action Network is expanding its efforts in stopping deforestation to right here in the Twin Cities. They are on a mission to stop Cargill’s rainforest destruction in Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and Indonesia by adopting a global forest policy, and so far Cargill has been reluctant to see the light.

Substance just returned from Rothbury where we managed the Rothbury Think Tank’s Activism Hub, forming it into the Manifest Station. We worked to build regional networks, help clean energy orgs progress their campaigns, and generally promote activism and civic engagement to the tens of thousands of event attendees.
